Review of Positron Lifetime Studies of Lattice Defects Formed during Tensile Deformation in a Hydrogen Environment

چکیده

The lattice defects, especially vacancies, formed during tensile deformation in a hydrogen environment have been evaluated by positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy (PALS). results from several such evaluations previous studies hydrogen-charged iron, steels, and Ni-based alloys are reviewed this study with reference to embrittlement models. A strong tendency increase the for vacancy cluster component, that is, larger size, lower fracture strains, was found many PALS on tensile-deformed metals. This suggests plastic strain localization, characteristic feature of embrittlement, is consistent hydrogen-enhanced clustering deformation. Early suggested precharging would result significant density, as inferred content obtained thermal desorption analysis (TDA). However, recent negative, no density were observed.

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water

abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...

the effect of e-64 on the developmental competence of sheep cocs during in vitro maturation

in the present study, the effect of e-64 at different concentrations (0.5, 1, 5 and 10 µm) added to (1) the ivm medium on oocyte nuclear maturation and developmental competence of ovine oocytes, and (2) to the ivc medium on embryonic development of ovine embryos were investigated.

the effectiveness of strategy-based instruction in teaching english as a second or foreign language: a meta-analysis of experimental studies

a large number of single research studies on the effects of strategy-based instruction (sbi) in teaching english as a foreign or second language has been conducted so far. however, the lack of a comprehensive meta-analysis targeting the effectiveness of english language sbi is observed. moreover, the findings of experimental studies regarding the context of the english language, proficiency lev...
